Include:- Clear vocal take
- Mono recording (wav or mp3 format - wav preferred)
- Slight processing: ,Light EQ removing harsh frequencies ,Light compression to level the vocal ,Slight pitch correction
- Limiter optional, targeting a vocal output of -15 to -12 LUFS or -7 to -5db for maximum volume to process
- Mimic/emulate the voice & genre of the AI artist you are using for the best output & conversion.
Avoid:- Instrumental background music
- Excessive background noise (use a noise gate plugin to eliminate)
- Multiple voices at once (harmonies, ad-libs, overlapping vocal comps)
- FX - delays, reverbs, heavy compression, doublers, distortion, saturation, and stereo imaging/widening
- Pops, clicks, sibilance (“s”, “t”, “z”, “f” - use a de-esser and EQ to remove or balance)
- Heavy pitch correction (unless you are going for the Autotune effect)
- Quiet, low level of output vocal take
- Stereo recording
*It is important to note that whatever the input sound is, the AI vocal will capture in the output conversion. It is best to get your original vocal exactly how you want it to sound before doing the AI conversion.
